Necessity is the mother of invention, and TEJANO BBQ Burrito was born of pitmaster and chef Dylan Kier’s desire to spice up the routine of eating his award-winning BBQ (of Blackstrap BBQ fame). Combining his love of Texas BBQ with a passion for the complex and vibrant flavours of Mexican cuisine, Kier knew from first bite that his BBQ Burrito discovery needed to be shared and, following months of meticulous recipe development, Kier and partner, Clara Barron (also of Blackstrap BBQ), teamed up with neighbouring entrepreneur and fellow BBQ aficionado, Ryan Bloom (of Urban Bonfire and Rustique Pie Kitchen), to bring TEJANO to life.
